Church Membership

Ephesians 4:16-From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

The established church provides a public display to the world of who belongs to Jesus.  It is a means to share the Good News.  It allows us as believers to publicly identify with Christ. We at Stone Hill believe that Jesus intended us to be marked out as a visible group; a group available to each other in terms of edification as well as to the community of people outside our four walls; sharing our faith and offering tangible help to the hurting.  Commitment to a local church also demonstrates our yielded hearts to God, as well as our willingness to submit to the church’s spiritual guidance.  Matthew 16:18-19, John 17:21-23

If you have any questions about membership at Stone Hill Bible Church please contact the church office at 815-725-1544.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near.”  Hebrews 10:25.
